The project was designed and executed for Pracownia z Oknem na Swiat, a private educational (language) school. The client’s inquiry was connected with the promotion of developmental workshops for youth regarding socials skills as a new product. Thus, the study later on was determined as a consumer research that felt into a product research category.
The following goals were identified:
- Researching the ideas for the new products, namely which types of workshop would satisfy client’s objectives best.
- Creating a valid scientific support for the workshops effectiveness.
- Understanding the association between skills indented to be taught during workshops and everyday activities.
In order to satisfy the requirements of a correlational study, quantitative research method was chosen as a general framework of the project. Zminna then proceeded with identifying design for the project. Because one of the main objectives was to ensure that Pracownia profits from the planned workshops, Zminna decided to collect data on social skills and understand the associations between social skills and everyday activities. This let us make inferences about why Pracownia’s clients and prospects should care about investing into social skills development and understand how these types of workshops should be constructed.
